We're honored to announce that Kearns Improvement District has received the 2026 American Water Works Association (AWWA) Public Communications Achievement Award for our grassroots "We Care" approach to communication and community engagement.

This national award recognizes our commitment to building trust, strengthening relationships, and ensuring our customers, employees, and community know that we care—not through large marketing budgets, but through authentic service, transparency, and meaningful connections.

While attending the AWWA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., our team also had the opportunity to meet with the offices of Senator John Curtis and Congressman Burgess Owens to discuss the challenges and future of water and wastewater services affecting the Kearns community.
