Press Release: The Utah DDW has Certified Kearns Improvement District is a Fully Compliant Public Drinking Water System
Every three (3) years the Utah Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Drinking Water (DDW) conducts a “Sanitary Survey” of a public drinking water’s system. This past month the DDW conducted a sanitary survey of the Kearns Improvement District’s water system and associated facilities. The survey assessed the Kearns Improvement District’s (KID) facilities construction, operations, record keeping, cyber security, and policy compliance with state and federal drinking water standards and regulations. The survey also looked at any conditions that may present a sanitary or public health risk. KID is pleased to announce that there were no deficiencies found in our water system.
